We stayed at another rental up until the day before and in comparrison, this house was much better kept. The house was clean and comfortable and the host was friendly and personable. Would definitely recommend to families.
A beautiful well kept house which didn’t take long to become our home for the four nights we were there. Close to local amenities and easily walkable to The Swallows Beach and Store Bay and eateries in the Crown Point area. Swimming pool pristine clean like the garden and interior of Kias Villa

Karen was super accommodating. The caretaker, Clarke, was very friendly and made sure we were very comfortable. We came in a bit early to Tobago and check in time was 3PM. Without asking, Clarke arranged for us to stay at a nearby Villa for FREE so we would have somewhere to stay until we were able to check in! This was remarkable. I would highly recommend Kias Villa and Karen to anyone!

Karen and Nicole were very responsive, accommodating and flexible. Karen was able to also connect us with a car rental. We felt right at home, enjoyed the pool very much and had more than enough space for our party of 6. Two of the three bathrooms water was leaking onto the floor of the shower and no hand towels were provided. Karen assured us they were already working to improve the issue with the shower. We would definitely return for another stay.
great location, excellent host. I think housekeeping of dishes can be better and appliances a bit dated. Yet they may all add to the authenticity of the villa. clean pool.
just spent a week in TnT with my wife who has never been there before.Iam originally from Trinidad and my wife is from Jamaica,It has been close to 30 years since my last visit.I was looking for some place close to the city of port of spain as well as some place close to where I grew up--St Ann's.Samise villa was the perfect spot.Mango is season this time of the year and I had my fill from the trees on the facility,they were sweet juicy and tasty.Denise the owner was very helpful in helping set up tours for us,We actually did more in that week than I did in my time living there.I was also able to connect with friends and family in the neighbourhood,All in all we had a wonderful timeand Denise and her family made sure our stay was as pleasant as possible, I also appreciated her listening to me reminisce about my youthful memories of Trinidad.I would definitely consider staying there on my return trip to TnT.Samuel,Keep up the good work with your photography hobby and good luck with your university sturdies.
My stay at Carolina was exactly what my husband and I needed. Being there felt like we were nestled in nature, surrounded by beautiful trees, plants and flowers.
I absolutely love the fact that when you are on the property you feel as if you are in another world and away from it all, even though it is within short walking distance to a central and busy area (all amenities conveniently located, including the beach). I also enjoyed the quiet and privacy offered by the space.
Our apartment was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable and accommodating. I really appreciated the beautiful breeze that was in an abundant supply when the windows were open.
Alec, the owner was absolutely wonderful and made us feel welcomed and catered to, especially as our visit was last minute.

Lynette was super responsive, Mr Clarke met us and showed us around the property. Any small issue that arose was responded to quickly and with kindness. We loved the privacy of the house and the pool is lush. We also enjoyed the plants in the garden - identifying them and enjoying the orchids which clearly thrive in the humid climate! It was great to have aircon and also a cooks kitchen. The only things that could improve on the kitchen would be some aluminum foil, pepper, maybe some oil and local spices - but these would obviously be a bonus for people wanting to cook. We would definitely stay at Lynette's place again and I would love to meet her!
Although our stay here was short, it was very memorable! The owner was hospitable, checked on us through WhatsApp, recommended restaurants and activities. We arrived at 7am, and he even let us check in 7 hours earlier after earlier agreeing to allow us to do do a bag drop. He even drove us to the airport for our return flight when there was miscommunication with the taxi driver. He even let us play with his Rottweiler, Zeus. The shared yard is beautiful, and the rooms were comfortable and well equipped. It is also well located and value for your budget.

Karen was an exceptional host and always responsive. The team locally managing the check in and check out process was flawless - Mr. Clarke made us feel right at home. My friends and I (18 persons) booked the villa for five days, four nights and we can all attest that undoubtedly, where we stayed had a great impact on what was an immensely enjoyable trip. The overall layout of the suites made it quite easy to balance privacy and togetherness. My friends and I were able to enjoy comfortable rooms, spacious living rooms, fully equipped kitchens and many after fete swims in the pools provided. The overall experience in Lotus Suites was unmatched. The comfortability and availability of certain amenities was widespread Lastly, I must make mention of the hospitality and warmth extended to us by the landlady- Ms Sharlene. She was truly the greatest hostess to my friends and I and we are truly thankful. We had a tagline for the entire weekend which was “we love sharlene bai”. Can’t wait to be back! we will definitely be booking again!
I always stay at Carolina Point Resort and had not been back home to Trinidad or Tobago since Covid. First of all I booked for April 2020 and paid in advance and Ace reiumbursed me when Covid shut everything down. I truly appreciated this because I heard so many stories of people not being able to get their funds back. Going bact there in Tobago is always a chance for me to go back home. My last time there was in 2018 and there were so many changes to the property, especially the garden and new pathways to the studio apartments. I like booking to stay here because it is easy access to my family in Tobago, the airport, store bay and lots of great food if you eat out. Ace also will pick you up and drop you off at the airport... which is awesome. It's also close enough to walk if that's what you want to do. Since not being back in a few years there were some new places to eat, but my favourite roti place for buss up shot is just up the street, which I also highly recommend. The only thing is the TV changed but to be honest, when I'm there I'm usually writing, or walking or seeing family. But it's always comfortable and I always feel safe. I've stayed at this place before Covid on 2-3 other occassions and I will be back again later this year.
We rented all three suites. The property is a lovely place, close to popular beaches, restaurants, the airport, seaport and shopping. The property is ideal for young children with child-friendly salt water pools. Sharlene was quite responsive when there was a toilet failure but luckily there are back up toilets in the wash room near the pools. Appliances were modern and functional and the numerous kitchen utensils were value added. The only thing missing was a coffee maker. I heartily recommend this place without any reservation whatsoever.
I’ve stayed here 3 times for carnival over the years, and hoping to get back again in 2024. I don’t even look at other places to stay. Denise and her family are extremely welcoming and attentive. Just outside the main hustle and bustle but so close that you never have to consider travel time to anything. The neighbourhood has also always been very welcoming with people remembering me from past visits. There was a night I didn’t return and Denise messaged me the next morning asking if I was ok. That’s the kind of attention you just don’t get anywhere else. I was fine, but it was so appreciated. With her years of experience and friendly, caring personality, Denise makes your stay feel like home. But let me book again first before one of you steals my room
Excellent apartment in a grand old
house in very large garden. Well equipped with an outdoor terrace and table, fan as well as air conditioning, lots of international tv channels and by walking out the track through the back garden, just 2 minutes from the beach. Owner liaised by WhatsApp including helpfully agreeing a late check out. We walked from the airport, of our choice; just 14 minutes. Lots of bars and small eateries within a few minutes walk.
Denise couldn’t have been a better hostess. I stayed at Samise for a little over two weeks in February. I did not want to leave because hospitality and service was top notch quality. It is at a really great location, a very short walk from the Savannah. Denise is also very well connected with her community and so it was very easy to get other travel tips and services that I needed with no problem. For example, she arranged for a nice tour to a city on a hill called Paramin. She also had connections for trips to the beach and for Tobago. Rooms were always cleaned and she put in extra effort to make sure my stay in Trinidad was a great one. I highly recommend this place to all visitors of Trinidad. I was so impressed with her service that I already paid a deposit to visit next year during carnival.
The Samise Villa family were extraordinary hosts for Carnival. I’ve traveled all over the world, and I’ve never had hosts like Denise and her family. They made my stay feel like HOME. They are well-versed on the culture of Port of Spain so they were able to provide amazing resources. they were always there to help without being invasive or overbearing. The location was convenient and the stay was comfortable.
Zen is a great place to stay, the accommodate was very clean and adequate for our stay. I highly recommend anyone to stay here. Perfect for family or girls trip!
Samise lovely is a lovely property in St Anns and is in close proximity to downtown Port of Spain. Transport was always readily available, and Denise is very well organised and professional.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the property is safe. Denise and her team are lovely, kind and are genuine in spirit. The variety served for breakfast during my stay was exceptional, well prepared by Denise and healthy.
Great location for business and leisure. It will certainly be my favourite location to stay in Trinidad anytime.
